Description
Mongyudowondo is a work that was painted by entrusting Angyeon(Painter of the early Joseon dynasty) with the dream that Prince Anpyeong played in Dowon(mu-reungdowon, which means an ideal place that everyone dreams of.), it is a detailed image of the real world that unfolds like a panorama, the entrance to the garden and landscape, and the mysteriousness of the garden to see the ship in the dream. Angyon successfully embodied the fantasy world of Prince Anpyeong with the exceptionally high and rugged mountain, Dowon in full bloom, and the clear and tranquil stream. LEE tried to bring out pictorial beauty by adding media technology to the landscape of ideal arithmetic. He lyrically expressed the utopia that humans admire and made them immerse themselves. It was intended to create a season by applying the color of life at the time on top of the faded canvas and to give infinite leeway to modern people by realizing a dreamy atmosphere and natural life.
